Thank you for taking the time to learn more about my background and experiences. My name is Nicole and I am a stay-at-home mom living in New York City.
Our family is fairly ordinary, but we try to think of ourselves as unique and definitely a lot of fun to be around! I live with my husband and our 3 year old boy.
I have been an Internet guru since I received my very first computer at the age of 10 back in 1994. My parents decided to purchase a modem and I was installing it myself within minites. It was from that moment on that my parents would discover I had a talent for being a nerd.
I began developing websites at a young age. Neighbors and local business owners started hiring me for small web, logo, and print projects. One of my websites started to receive media attention, which led to my inspiration into developing my own web design consulting business
I have a Bachelors degree in Business Management and I am currently pursuing an MBA with a concentration in Marketing. The plan is to teach online college courses for undergraduate students.
I completed my Bachelors degree online and thereafter decided to continue on and pursue Graduate school. This would only be possible through online courses since I am a stay-at-home mom. I greatly appreciate each and every mentor, professor, and peer student that I was fortunate enough to work with as an Undergraduate. I want to pay it forward and educate those men and women that are in the same position as I am.
Past employment experiences consist primarily within the e-commerce and Internet marketing industry. I have excelled gracefully and with great passion when it comes to anything Internet related. I began my very first website at the age of 9-years old back in 1994 called The UHLP (Read more). The website took off and I was suddenly finding my name and website URL in books, magazines, newspapers, and fan club releases!
I’ve learned this through blogging and networking with other women in my position. If not for MamaNYC, I would have continued on believing that I was somehow the only woman that didn’t see her pregnancy glow, but only those that I appeared before would actually see this glow. This is just one example of why I am a blogger. Just one.
After months of discussion and planning, I began an adventure with Rita over at Momwitha.com in order to provide an outlet for bloggers to receive support, meet likeminded bloggers, and enhance their network through product research and review. There was never a question or doubt in my mind about BloggerPR’s effectiveness and purpose. Through our combined efforts and knowledge, I am quite confident that we will bring a tremendous level of support for our bloggers.
