Thank you for showing an interest in finding out more about me and BloggerPR. My name is Rita and I currently live in a very small, off-the-map kind of town in Northern California. Usually (being only 25 miles away), I just mention Chico, California and people know generally where I’m located. At this time, I’m a stay-at-home mom and I love (almost) every second of it!
There are five of us in my family. Me, my future husband, my 16 year old son, eight year old daughter and our two year old son. With all of our individual schedules, life for us stays fairly busy. We also have our one year old white female Boxer, Carly that we love very much. We are a family that is fascinated with innovation, science, physics, technology and small business ventures.
I became a mom at a very young age; therefore, I have been a mom a lot longer than anything else. For this reason, I did not attend college immediately after high school. It was more imperative that I continue working full-time to maintain a thriving environment for my son and myself. Before my second child was thought of, I completed a college course and got certified as an Administrative Assistant. Later in life, I took more classes here and there. During that time, I took a business and a marketing course that I loved. Next fall, I will be continuing my education in that area – I very much look forward to it.
Back in 2000, I got my first computer and fell in love. Over the years, I became a whiz at the internet and social networking. I started blogging in 2010 without really knowing where I was going or what I was doing. After a few months, I figured it out and launched Mom with a dot com. With that, came the opportunity for me to expand on things I’m passionate about. Along the way, I have met some really amazing people – readers and fellow bloggers.
Knowing the overwhelming feeling of starting a blog (and sometimes continuing on), I began the BloggerPR journey with Nicole at MamaNYC.net. We feel strongly about success and want to provide a place for bloggers to receive support and be able to network with one another. We would also like to bridge opportunities – not only with brands but with each other, as well. Not only will this be a positive experience for bloggers and brands – it will be for us too! Not to mention, with our time zone difference, we will have the ability to accommodate various schedules.
I appreciate your interest in working with BloggerPR! We would love to hear about your promotions, business ventures or marketing opportunities. There is no company too big or too small. Please feel free to contact me at Rita@BloggerPR.net to discuss what ideas you have to create our partnership!
